Now, unlike a lot of RPs, there is a different system here that is used to make your character more reknown within the world of Kenificus Vector. Typically it's just who has the most ridiculous abilities or who decides to include fame in their backstory, but that is not the case here. While you can include such fluff in your character's history, you'll still start off the same as everybody else.
As you post, though, you'll earn what is called 'Fame'. You earn one Fame point for every post you make. As you earn more Fame, you'll become more well known within Kenificus Vector, and if you have enough fame, you can start your own group.
A group is just what you think it is, a group of people working towards a common goal. This could be a special combat unit in the Beowulves, a cell within the Orochi, or may be something entirely different. Those are just some examples.
While there are no minimum person requirements, there is a minimum fame requirement. In order to start a group, all of those involved with the formation of the group need to have 100 Fame. This could be just one person with 100 fame deciding to start things off by himself, four people with 25 fame each, or whatever sort of split-up you decide to do.
However, when you first form the group, you won't be very well known. That is when the 'Group Fame' comes into things, which is basically the combined total of Fame between all of the members. As you reach certain amounts of Group Fame, you can add onto your group and make yourselves more well known.
Why would you go through the trouble of doing this? Well, a famous group is more likely to be involved in events than a single person who has no fame. Fame is your way into the spot light, and it is your way to earn more both for your own character and for your group.
When making a group, you'll use the following template:
As your Group Fame goes up, you will be able to add Rumors to your group, things that people would've heard about or topics of gossip pertaning to your group. These can actually be spoken about in character, allowing you to spread the word about your group as you become more famous. You can also add conversation topics, which are basically reasonable in-character times to mention a group in casual conversation and actually expect the other person to have heard of them or know about them.
Every 30 Group Fame you gain after the initial 100 for formation of the group, you are allowed to add a rumor to your group. You can add it to one of the three divisions of people and every 50 Group Fame, you can add a conversation topic for your group. It would be a generic category, such as 'music' if your group is famous for something pertaining to music (such as having a musician in their numbers or for being related to an incident involving a music store).
Obviously, the more rumors and topics a group has, the more famous they are. If you want to truly become a house-hold name in Kenificus Vector, than make yourself famous.
